Heather spent the first half her life in Michigan and the second half of her life in Alabama so her accent is kind of all over the place.  She has been running competitively since the 5th grade and ran Cross Country and Track for the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she also got her degree in Marketing. She made the decision to move out to Colorado for the hiking and the adventurous lifestyle it brings.

Getting the Edge on Heather

What was your first job?

I worked at a concession stand for the city of Daphne in Alabama. It was great because I got to eat food all day and hang out with my friends, all while making money.

What is your favorite quote?

Tough times don’t last but tough people do.

What are your favorite hobbies?

Hiking and Portrait Photography. I am excited to be living in Colorado now because it gives me a better chance to kind of do both hobbies at the same time. My goal with photography is to get into doing destination elopements and traveling into the mountains sounds like the perfect way to get that started.
