Dane is the Vice President – Prime West at EdgeLink, responsible for assessing and evaluating potential partnerships, contract negotiations, budget consultation, new business development, account maintenance and public relations.
Prior to joining EdgeLink, Dane worked for eight years as the Northern California and Pacific Northwest Scouting Supervisor for the St. Louis Cardinals. He facilitated public relations between the St. Louis Cardinals and his territory, determined value for potential prospects, and led contract negotiations with agents of drafted prospects in a period that included the Cardinals’ 2004 National League Championship and 2006 World Series title. Before becoming a scout, Dane played professional baseball for seven years in the Oakland Athletics organization.
Dane’s experience on the business side of baseball gives him unique insight for assessing personalities, background, fit and talent.
Dane lives in Lake Oswego, OR with his wife and two children. He is also currently the Head Coach of Lakeridge High School’s varsity boys’ basketball team.
