Getting the Edge on Zack
Front Counter Attendant at an equipment/party rentals shop. One minute I was power-washing industrial equipment in the yard, the next I was helping pick out plates, glasses and linens for parties. I was the jack (or Zack, sorry) of all trades.
Favorite thing to do outside of work:
Anything outdoors! Hiking, biking, snowboarding, and exploring the Great Northwest. Big Basketball fan, played almost every team sport at least once while growing up. I’m a big family-man; we get together for birthdays, graduations, (Insert special event here) on a monthly basis. Spend a lot of time with my church but also making sure that we spend time in our geographic communities! I believe that any group is only as impactful as your connections with the outside world and the good work you do there.
“I shall pass this way but once; any good that I can do or any kindness I can show to any human being; let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.” – Etienne de Grellet
Things your mother would approve of:
-I’ll eat anything, or should I say, “try” anything at least once.
-When I am eating, I chew with my mouth closed.
-I’m as nice and polite as I can be with everyone I meet.
A little bit of everything. I lean towards alternative (think red hot chili peppers, foo fighters, arcade fire, mumford and sons) but I can appreciate country, classical, EDM, rap, praise/worship, you name it. We constantly have music in the background at work and it can sometimes create channel-surfing “battles” as everyone wants to be DJ. I’m just happy there’s music!
