Shannon is an executive technical recruiting professional with extensive experience in recruiting practices and development and client and account management. Her focus is on building long-term business partnerships with her candidates and clients to provide exceptional talent solutions. She identifies and locates top notch talent by directly recruiting and networking within the industry. She specializes in building key relationships and successfully managing expectations to help ensure premium experiences and enable long-term growth.

Prior to joining EdgeLink, Shannon worked as a member of Evergreen Aviation’s marketing team where she was responsible for raising public awareness and researching customer needs for the museum’s new IMAX Theater. There, she designed and organized IMAX launch events and worked with theater staff on budget proposals, film contracts and financial reports.

Born and raised in Pendleton, Oregon, Shannon is very proud of her small town country roots. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Management and Marketing from Linfield College. At Linfield, she served as President of the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority and as President of the Student Alumni Association. Shannon and her husband, Chris, live in southwest Portland.

Getting the Edge on Shannon

First job:

Nanny for a family in my hometown Pendleton. Primary care giver for a seven-year-old and two-year-old for the summer – fun and lots of sun!

Who inspires you:

My parents! They have helped shape me into the person that I am today and I admire their wisdom, success and love that they have engrained in me over the years. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.

All Country Music (I’m a country girl at heart) - Kenny Chesney, George Strait, Sugarland, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, etc.

Favorite hobbies:

Traveling, college sports, Blazers, running, skiing, being with family and friends, baking, golfing, Beavers football, networking and reading.

Most desired vacation destination:
St. Lucia in the Caribbean’s! Chris and I both hope to visit this beautiful Island one of these days.
