Prior to that, he worked for the Vancouver campus of the Business Computer Training Institute as the Director of Employment Services. There, he assisted students in finding employment and built relationships with area employers. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology-Sociology from Western Washington University. He enjoys golf, softball and poker. Getting the Edge on Dan Worst job: Big 5 Sporting Goods. I was basically a shoe salesman. They made a long running TV show about how bad it is to be a shoe salesman... that was a long summer. First job: At a golf course…I made $3.25/hr. At least the golf was free and I was probably the richest 8th grader in my class. $50 a week goes a long way when you're 13. Favorite quote: “Adversity causes some men to break, and others to break records.” Favorite thing to do outside of work: Spend time with family and friends, golf and anything sports related…I think I could name the opening day lineup for the ‘93 Mariners (I have a problem). Pet(s): My dog Abbey and two cats, Crash and Bailey...three animals is way too many. Who inspires you? Mom, my son, my wife. Things your mother would approve of: My character, the dad I am. Favorite food: Mexican. Favorite music: Classic Rock…Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, CCR, Allman Brothers and Pearl Jam (they’ve been around since '91…it's classic by now right?) Favorite hobbies: Sports, anything on a boat, poker. |
